Cost to 2036 – circa $6.5 billion

• $4.7 billion (for major city-shaping and city-serving transport infrastructure including development costs to enable planned delivery beyond 2036

• $1.2 billion required in the next 5 years

• $5.3 billion in medium to longer term (next 6 to 15 years).

Key infrastructure priorities

• New primary school and high school;

• Open space;

• Pedestrian walkability improvements.

Land required to deliver the infrastructure and services

• Total approx. 53 hectares

• Incl. 23 ha of sporting facilities and open space

• Note: Some facilities can be located outside the Precinct. Shared use of existing facilities should be considered first.

• 20,000 new jobs;

• key locations for 5,450 – 7,650

new homes;

• a fine-grain road and pedestrian

network;

• a fine-grain open space network;

• strengthened synergies with

adjacent precincts.

• The Ryde Coordination Group (RCG) has

overseen the preparation of the draft Place

Strategy and the masterplan for the

investigation area. The GSC will continue to

lead the coordination of the RCG as a

steering committee that:

• oversees the implementation of the

Place Strategy;

• coordinates State agencies; and

• sets priorities for Macquarie Park.
