Kit

Essential to wear boots that are

waterproof and that are mid or

high ankle. Approach shoes are not

Suitable.

Take a pair of trainers for wearing in

the evenings. Flip flops are useful for

before and after the trek.

25-30ltr rucksack is essential. Do

have a waterproof cover for it too or dry bag.

Dry bags for your main luggage for the trek too.

Soft bags for main luggage and bring another

small bag/carrier bag for items not to be used on

the trek, you can leave them at the hotel.

There is a weight limit for the trek itself.

• Buy the best that you can

afford. Sleep is so important on

this trek

• A 4 seasons + sleeping bag is

essential, and a silk liner is a

great idea to give you extra

warmth

Head torches are easier

to use than a hand held

Torch. Take

spare batteries.

We recommend factor 30

as a minimum but for altitude

use factor 50. Lipsalve with a high

spf is just as important

Cameras that use AA batteries are

easier to use as you may not have access

to electricity to charge your lithium battery

Don’t forget you can get 15% off at
