ZIPI MAPI Itinerary

Day 1:Pick up will be from Loki Hostel at 8am, from where you will begin the 1hr45 drive tothe Sacred Valley. Upon reaching the Sacred Valley your guide will give you all thenecessary equipment and a safety talk before beginning the climb.

The Via Ferrata will be a 300 meter climb up a steel ladder as well therewill be places in which you will need to cross the wall horizontallyalong cables. You will have a harness and double-carabineersystem for maximum security. There are 6 interconnectedzip line cables ranging from 100 to 500 meters in lengthfor a total of 2000 meters.

After the zip line tour you will be driven to thetrain station in Ollantaytambo. In AguasCalientes you will be met and broughtto the hostel. At 8pm there will be ameeting with your Machu Picchuguide.

Day 2:In the morning you will start your 1 hou

ascent to Machu Picchu to arrive in time fosunrise, or at the time you desire (busoptional, $8 each way, first bus departs a5:30am). If you have purchased a pass foHuayna Picchu in advance you will have thopportunity to climb the mountain (climbintime will be determined in advancdepending on availability). There will be a twhour guided tour of Machu Picchu followinwhich you will have the rest of the afternooto explore Machu Picchu. You need to returto Aguas Calientes at least 30 mins prior tyour train departure (return trains schedulsubject to daily change). There will be

transport waiting for you in Ollantaytambo tbring you back to Cusco.

Day 1Pick up will be at 8am at Loki, from where youll drive into the Sacred Valley to beginthe biking OR trekking. You will visit the Incan agricultural testing site of Morayas well as the salt mines in Maras. The first portion of the biking will have both

up and down hills with single track options in some sections. The lastportion of the ride after visiting the salt mines will be all downhill onthe single-track llama path until reaching the Urubamba riverwhere the transport will be waiting.

You will have lunch on the way, and then be transferredto Ollantaytambo to catch the afternoon train.

Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes you will bebrought to your hostel. At 8pm yourMachu Picchu guide will come to thehostel to brief you about your tourfor the next day.

Day 1You will be picked up from the hostel at 8am and drive 40 mins to the town of Pisac.Pisac is famous for the mass that takes place at its local church, which is spokenin Quechua and for its indigenous market. Youll have the opportunity to enjoya buffet lunch at a restaurant in the valley, and then in the afternoon visitthe Inca fort and indigenous population of Ollantaytambo. Founded bythe Inca Ollanta on the banks of the Urubamba River, Ollantaytambois a fort built into the mountain with Andean terraces. At the topwe find the Sun Temple, constructed of large blocks thathave remained intact for centuries in spite of the effectsof time and weather.

From Ollantaytambo you will take the afternoontrain to Aguas Calientes. Upon arrival youwill be brought to your hostel. At 8pmyour Machu Picchu guide will cometo the hostel to brief you aboutyour tour for the next day.
