About me Currently owner of a private coaching practice, Macarena Vergara Coaching, I worked globally for over 15 years in the international aid and development field, for aid agencies, the private sector and non-profit organizations. Academic qualifications in economics, gender equality and public health further deepened my expertise and passion for social and human development. At some point along my professional and personal journey, I learned that key to contributing to the world is to start with ourselves, and I now support individuals’ awareness, empowerment and growth through personal and professional coaching and motivational speaking engagements. My coaching approach follows my certifications as Results Coach (neuroscience) and Zen Coach (mindfulness). With a diverse client-base spanning corporate and international development executives, entrepreneurs, writers, activists and other coaches, both in South Africa and internationally, I work flexibly to meet my clients’ needs and have embraced technology in my practice, routinely coaching remotely (Skype and telephone). I accompany my clients in coaching journeys towards fulfilling personal and business/corporate goals, facilitating deep transformation through clients reconnecting to themselves with integrity and finding their own voice. My clients are driven, willing to achieve internal coherence and open to having powerful conversations that produce transformative results.
