This historic event will take place on September 5, 2015 at Olympic Plaza, in the heart of downtown Calgary. Fiesta Filipino 2015 will showcase the flavours, visuals, sounds and crafts that make the Filipino cultural heritage unique and diverse. We anticipate that this free event will be attended by 10,000 people. They will come not only from the city’s large and growing Filipino community but from the many Calgarians who have been touched by the community’s renowned friendliness. Spearheading this event is the PFCA, a newly registered group comprised of individuals and leaders from the community. PFCA is driven by a vision of a vibrant Filipino-Calgarian community that is contributing to cultural diversity and multiculturalism in Canada. Through Fiesta Filipino 2015, we hope to make Filipino- Canadians conscious and proud of their contributions to Calgary and to support the active celebration of people and cultures that makes our city and nation strong. A VIBRANT FILIPINO-ALBERTAN COMMUNITY THAT CONTRIBUTES TO THE CULTURAL DIVERSITY AND MULTICULTURALISM IN CANADA

To promote the Philippine cultural heritage in Alberta through music, arts, and crafts.
To partner with community organizations and businesses in reviving the Philippine Heritage.
To highlight the positive contributions of Filipino Canadians.
To engage a broad spectrum of Filipino community groups guided by the spirit of Bayanihan (cooperation or heroism to one another)
To promote the vibrant multiculturalism in Alberta.
