ANDREW JONESA 22-year old college graduate whose concern is not where he’s going in life but the easiest way to get there.

THE JONES’ FAMILYA typical West Palm Beach family with an ambitious daughter and now a returning son from college who is less than joyous to find his way back out the home.

MAJOR CHARACTERS Andrew Jones, a 22 year old, college

graduate whom moves back home. Carol Jones, Andrew’s mother, a stay-at-

home who is nurturing and protective of her kids.

Bill Jones, Andrew’s father, an independent contractor who wants his son to do his best, just not in his home.

Daphne Jones, Andrew’s younger sister, who is a high school junior and very proactive in her work. Also her parents’ pride and joy.

RE-OCCURRING CHARACTERS Peggy and Jim Williamson, Andrew’s

parents’ neighbors, a retired couple whose loving relationship is more like a cat and dog affair.

Evelyn and Gene , Andrew’s maternal grandparents, whose 20-something attitude is constantly leading Andrew astray.

SETTING In West Palm

Beach, Florida, an gated community near the waterfront. In the loving home of the Jones where the primary action takes place.

lawn of the Jones which is a re-occurring place of interaction between the family and the neighbors.

the many places in which Andrew tries to find a place of employment at.

TYPICAL PLOT SITUATIONS Revolving around Andrew’s desperate need

to find a job, please his family, and finding himself.Andrew’s desperate attempt to find a job ends

him up taking an escort job to make some money but he ends up taking a job too close to home.

Andrew’s parents’ anniversary is approaching and his father gives Drew his mother’s ring to get cleaned but his scheme for a fast buck leaves him without a ring and broke.

Daphne has a big report due and Drew offers to help but his help leads her on the way to academic dishonesty.

TYPICAL PLOT SITUATION CONT’D

The Williamsons’ are going out of town and need their pamper pooch, Cha-Cha to be watched while they’re gone and Andrew takes the job. Unfortunately, locking the dog in a closet and throwing a party is not really what they were going for.

Andrew needs to take a load off from his job search and party but the crowd that he imagined was not his grandparents.

FINANCIAL VIABILITY The target audience which is from 17 to

late middle ages which are considered the “purchasing” group would buy merchandise of the shows and the products shown in the show.

FINANCIAL VIABILITY Nevertheless,

the advertising cost for companies to showcase their products on the show would help fund the production.

and only have 2 main sets; home of Jones and the Jones front lawn, which would cut down on production cost because new sets would not have to be constantly produced and the cost of producing outside the studio would not be factor.

Below-the-line cost would be minimal due no special effects would be needed and the sets and designers would not need to be at a constant production.

FINANCIAL VIABILITY Above-the-line cost would be also be

minimal because the actors, producers, and writers would be individuals whom are not “big names”.
