The Home Mission Board asked for $5,000. WMU efforts exceeded that goal. From that start to today, more than $1 billion has been raised for North American mission efforts. Every dollar of the offering (named after missions advocate/WMU leader, Annie Armstrong, in 1936) goes to missionaries & their work of sharing the life-transforming gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the United States, Canada, and their territories. Our goal is $1200.
