Dear Colleagues,
Let us thank God for the blessings and His guidance has given us health. It is a great pleasure to
welcome you all to The 19th APAGE Annual Congress to be held conjunction with 7th National
Meeting of Indonesian Gynecology Endoscopy Society (IGES). This is a first Congress of APAGE
implemented in Surabaya of Indonesia.
As a General Chairman of this Congress, it is a great high respect to provide programs of
presentation from world class endoscopist of all over the world as well as favorable moment to
share in workshops conducted by experts in field. We look forward with this congress gives each
and every attendance get opportunity to share in knowledge and experience of the expertise's
presenters.
Surabaya is Indonesia's second-largest city with a population of over 2.7 million and the capital of
the province of East Java. It is located on the northern shore of eastern Java at the mouth of the
Kalimas River and along the edge of the Madura Strait. To Indonesians, it is known as 'the city of
heroes' due to the importance of the Battle of Surabaya in galvanizing Indonesian and international
support for Indonesian Independence during the Indonesian National Revolution. Surabaya now
enjoys the reputation as being the cleanest city in Indonesia, equipped with every modern facility
and offering a standard of accommodation to suit every taste and budget. Paces of interest for the
tourist require Kalimas harbor and Kampung Arab in the old part of town, The Mpu Tantular
Museum, as well as one of the largest zoos in south east Asia.
Hopefully, this congress will provide favorable occasion for valuable discussion on techniques,
innovations, minimally invasive approaches, surgical skill, instrumentation and technology in
surgery. We wish it gives you opportunity to know Surabaya which is something different
atmosphere from another the cities of different countries in Asia.

Instructions for Paper Abstracts and Poster Abstracts
APAGE requires a structured abstract which includes the following segments:
Objective Begin with a clear, concise statement of the precise objective
or question presented in the study.
Methods
Indicate the measurement(s) of primary study outcome which
has been planned before data collection begins. If the
manuscript does not report the main planned-outcomes of a
study, this fact should be stated and the reason should be

indicated. State clearly whether the hypothesis, which was
being tested, was formulated during or after data collection.
Explain some outcomes or measurements which might be
unfamiliar to the general medical readership.
Results Describe the methods of assessing patients and state the key
results; this section must include data, even if preliminary.
Conclusion
State clearly the conclusions and clinical applications that are
supported by the data. Advice, if additional study is required
before this information, should be used in clinical settings.

Award Competitions for Abstracts
Awards will be made to acknowledge excellent research in advancing
minimally invasive gynecology. The award competitions for paper, poster, and
video are open to all. Please select the competition you want an abstract to be
