OBJECTIVES

To increase enrolment, retention and to tone up the

learning abilities of the beneficiaries, especially of

children belonging to poor sections of the society;

GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL SYSTEM

• Helpline at Telephone No. 0172-6541673 remains operative 24 hours.

• Complaints received are dealt with at the head office, district office or schools immediately.

• School heads inform head office directly at telephone no 0172-2600119 if they get any problem regarding Mid-Day-Meal.

GOOD PRACTICES

• Foodgrains are stored in storage bins which have been purchased out of the sale proceed of used gunny bags.

• Cooked food and Foodgrains are checked by the Health Department on regular basis.

• Potability of drinking water is checked from all the schools by the Health Department on regular basis.

• All children are encouraged to wash there hands before taking meals.

• SDM’s check Mid-Day-Meal in 5 schools at random every week falling under them.
