Here I am to Worship

Welcome to the Berkeley SDA Church!

Here I am to WorshipMichael W Smith

Light of the worldYou stepped down into darknessOpened my eyes let me seeBeauty that made this heart adore YouHope of a life spent with You

Here I am to worshipHere I am to bow downHere I am to say that Youre my GodYoure altogether lovelyAltogether worthyAltogether wonderful to me

King of all daysOh, so highly exalted Glorious in heaven aboveHumbly You came to the earth You createdAll for loves sake became poor

Here I am to worshipHere I am to bow downHere I am to say that Youre my GodYoure altogether lovelyAltogether worthyAltogether wonderful to me

Ill never know how much it costTo see my sin upon that cross

Here I am to worshipHere I am to bow downHere I am to say that Youre my GodYoure altogether lovelyAltogether worthyAltogether wonderful to me

StillHillsong

Hide me now, under your wingsCover me, within your mighty hand

When the oceans rise and thunders roarI will soar with you above the stormFather you are King over the floodI will be still and know you are God

Rest my soul, in Christ aloneKnow His power, in quietness and trust

When the oceans rise and thunders roarI will soar with you above the stormFather you are King over the floodI will be still and know you are GodI will be still and know you are GodI will be still and know you are God

The Old Rugged Cross

On a hill far away stood an old rugged crossThe emblem of suffering and shameAnd I love that old cross where the dearest and bestFor a world of lost sinners was slain

So Ill cherish the old rugged crossTill my trophies at last I lay downI will cling to the old rugged crossAnd exchange it some day for a crown

Oh that old rugged cross, so despised by the worldHas a wondrous attraction for me, For the dear Lamb of God left his glory aboveTo bear it to dark Calvary

So Ill cherish the old rugged crossTill my trophies at last I lay downI will cling to the old rugged crossAnd exchange it some day for a crown

To the old rugged cross I will ever be trueIts shame and reproach gladly bearThen Hell call me someday to my home far away, Where his glory forever Ill share

So Ill cherish the old rugged crossTill my trophies at last I lay downI will cling to the old rugged crossAnd exchange it some day for a crown

Campus Ministry Stats 18 million Adventists world wide 5.94 million between the ages of 16 - 30 18.75% in college and university 113 Adventist colleges and universities around the world 74, 298 students enrolled in Adventist colleges world wide More than 80-90% on public campuses In some parts of the world, there is no option 1.5 million in non-Adventist college is a conservative number

Why is the campus such a strategic mission field?

Generational scientists and demographers tell us we are now living in a post-Christian eara. According to a study by the Barna Group conducted over ten years agao - teenagers who entered college from strong evangelical youth groups were walking away from their faith in college at the alarming rate of 60 - 80%. The recent book, You Lost Me by David Kineman, Barna Group researcher states that 43% of young adult believers between the ages of 18-30 are walking away from the church. Thats around 8 million young adults leaving the fold. This is the largest generational ideological shift since the Hitler youth revolt in pre-world war II Germany. In lieu of this we need to re-examine our approaches for sharing the hope we have in Christ with a world already turned off by religion.

Divine RomancePhil Wickham

The fullness of your grace is here with meThe richness of your beautys all I seeThe brightness of your glory has arrivedIn your presence God Im completely satisfied

For you I sing I danceRejoice in this divine romanceLift my heart and my hands to show my loveTo show my love

A deep deep flood, an ocean flows from youOf deep deep love, its filling up the roomYour innocent blood has washed my guilty lifeIn your presence God Im completely satisfied
