WHAT SHOTS AM I GOING TO USE

CONVEY THE MESSAGE OF THE

LYRICS

As you can see above I did

some analysis of story the

lyrics were trying to convey.

I want the lyrics to heavily

influence the narrative.

As most the lyrics

suggest alcoholism I

want to include a lot of

shots of alcohol and

drinking.

I will show a male

being physically

abused in my video

but I only want to

elude to abuse.

The abuse is

portrayed in two

different aspects.

Frist alcohol abuse

and the second

physical abuse

from a partner

NARRATIVE IN DEPTH

• Before I wanted to just show an male in an abusive relationship. However

studying the lyrics in depth showed me that the abuse the person in the

song suffers is by alcohol personified as a abusive partner.

• I want to show this in my music video as it ’s a very interesting concept.

Not only is it interesting but its also covering a subject that ’s not covered

often and that is male domestic violence.

• To elude to the fact that the alcohol is being personified I want to show the

male drinking after every act of abuse. This will hopefully show that the

abuse leads to alcohol and also the alcohol leads to abuse.

• I don’t want to show the face of the abuser however this will be hard to

avoid. This is because I don’t want the abuser to have an identity, I want

them to be mysterious so the audience feels distant from the abuser and

sympathises more with the male.
