Year 1 Trip to Hengistbury Head Year 1 had a
fantastic time on
their school trip to
the beach last week!
They enjoyed going
to Hengistbury Head
visitor centre and
finding out all about
the wildlife living
around the beach
area. They then
caught the land
train to the beach to
make some amazing sandcastles and finished off
with an ice cream and ferry ride! What a lovely day
they had!
Summer Fair Thank you for supporting our Summer Fair and 25th Anniversary celebrations. With the incredible support of the local community, parents and grandparents we raised a staggering £1900! This will help benefit all the children in various ways including wild wood, school trips, interactive whiteboards and the development of the outside pond area.
Special Visitors in Reception! The children in Reception were visited today by four Springer Spaniel puppies. Bryn’s mum let all the children have a cuddle with the puppies and answered any questions that the children had. We were also lucky to have a visit from a bee keeper. We looked at a bee hive and even got to try on a bee keeper’s outfit.

SportsDay All the children were so excited to take part in Sports Day on Thursday. Everyone enjoyed all the different activities but the year group races seemed to be very popular! The most competi-tive people on the day were the staff who ran the relay race! Many thanks to Friends of School for providing tea, coffee and delicious Danish pastries. Also, thank you to all parents/grandparents for coming along to support the children. Yellow team won! Here are Marley and Freya proudly holding the cup.
Ronan showing great determination.
