Debra Ghia, LVCC’s vice president, CACFP, reports “Minute Menu is atechnological leap orward or the CACFP program. Once all providersare trained, the web-based program will allow us to keep in constantcontact with providers through broadcast emails and real-time updates.In addition, our staf will be able to spend more time designing anddistributing educational materials or children and parents.”
…meet the needs o amilies,
Every amily is unique and their child care needs change with the changingtides o their amily. Many choose to enroll their child in an LVCC programbecause they value
• safe, reliable care while they work;
• sta who nurture and stimulate the development of their infant or toddler
• a strong academic environment to help their preschooler prepare forkindergarten;
• an enriching, structured after-school program;
• or convenient, aordable child care while they nish high school.
Whatever the reason, amilies look to LVCC or solutions to their earlycare and education needs.
“It is very convenient to have child care available right at my child’s school. It isbetter or them to be around other children they already know.”
– Mallony Kutz, Avona School
“LVCC is second to none. All o my daughter’s teachers and all the sta areattentive, caring, and involved with the care and education o not just mydaughter but all the children in their care. Tey are wonderul and mydaughter loves it there.”
– Wendy Duch, Campus Center
“Te sta at College Hill are very caring to my children and mysel. Everyoneis very riendly and compassionate. Te director is excellent and makesaccommodations according to my needs or my children.”
– Parent, College Hill
“I am very pleased with the center. Both my children enjoy the teachers,curriculum and amily-like setting that LVCC at St. Luke’s provides. Tere is
a peace o mind that I have, knowing my children are being cared or byteachers that really care and are close to them. Tey are not just numbers or aces. Keep up the good work!”
– Parent, St. Luke’s
“I loved that there were many opportunities or my son to build things andraw in the art area. I see great areas or children to play/act. (Tey hadofce and school). Tere were places to dress up and build lie-sized struc(a tepee and building blocks). Te outside and inside toys were in good sand engaging. My son has been with the ruman Center since Kindergaand he has never once said he was bored. So many o his needs were metdierent age levels rom K-5.
– Parent, ruman School
