Spa Etiquette

Reservations All reservations for Spa Days / Packages are deemed tobe provisional until the Company has issued writtenconfirmation of the booking. Provisional bookings will beheld for a period of seven days pending receipt ofconfirmation and accompanying deposit from the customer.Following this period, any provisional bookings maybecancelled without further notice or penalty.

Price & Payment The price is specified in the published price list and includesamenities as detailed. The price includes VAT at theprevailing rate applicable on the day of arrival. Paymentcan be made by cash, credit / debit card or cheque.Cheques will only be accepted when supported by a validbank card. Master Card, American Express, Visa andSwitch cards are accepted.

Cancellation by Guests A deposit of £25 per person is required to confirm all spapackages and any treatments over £100 with the balancepayable on arrival. All cancellations within 48 hours of dayof arrival will be charged at 50% of total advertised price.Treatment start times may vary. Multiple Spa dayappointments are not guaranteed.

Cancellation by the Company The Company will use its best endeavours to ensure theavailability of the treatments. However, it cannot acceptliability for cancellation due to circumstances outwith itscontrol. If such circumstances arise the Company reservesthe right to cancel the contract and refund all sums paid byguests or offer other such alternative treatments as may beavailable.

ValuablesGuests who bring valuables such as jewellery, do so entirelyat their own risk. Safe deposit facilities are provided. Guestsare strongly advised to ensure, in their own interests, thatall valuables, whether or not kept in the safe depositfacilities provided, are fully and properly covered byinsurance.

Exclusions The Company cannot accept responsibility for any loss,damage or injury or inconvenience caused to guests duringtheir stay at Airth Castle Hotel or use of any facilities withinthe hotel, spa or leisure club.

General In the unlikely event of any guest having a complaint orclaim this must be notified to the Company in writing within7 days of departure. Please be advised that all treatmentsand timings include allocated consultation and aftercare.The minimum age for treatment is 16, under 16’s are notpermitted in the Spa area. A limited range of treatments areavailable for pregnant mothers after your 1st trimester,please see Spa reception for further details.

Bookings The Spa welcomes members, non-members and hotel gueststo experience any of our therapies. We recommend thatyou arrive at least twenty minutes prior to your scheduledappointment time to prepare for your chosen therapies.After your treatments, take time out and relax in our spafacilities. These facilities can be used before or after anySpa treatment at an additional charge of £10.Complimentary use of the facilities is included for any Spatreatments costing over £85. Please bring suitableswimwear with you, towels are provided; bathrobes areavailable on Spa Days only. Slippers are available at anextra charge.

Gift VouchersGift Vouchers are non-refundable, have no equivalent cashvalue and must be used within the 6 month validity period.Gift Vouchers may be transferable at the discretion of theSpa Management. Gift Vouchers make an ideal gift for anyspecial occasion including Birthdays, Christmas, Valentine’sor Mother’s Day. We can personalise your Spa Vouchersfor a single treatment to a full day or residential package.We will be happy to assist you with your choice of any Spatherapy. Please inform the Spa receptionist at the time ofbooking, your chosen Spa therapy details and numberstated on the voucher.
