connectors on board. And not a single floor of the Burj Khalifa keeps it cool without us. Even

Neuschwanstein Castle or the Sistine Chapel in the Vatican need our products to heat up the

home.

Those who move all things large – in the smallest and most filigree of dimensions – are one of us.

Employees from 19 different nations work around the globe for a precious good: our customers –

establish the M12 circular connector as a global standard in the early 80s. Many contributed

pointedly toward the development of the RAST connector some 30 years ago, to support the

industry with its mission to eliminate defects during the production process caused by mismated

connections, to simplify the final assembly of devices, thereby paving the way for conformity.

This became, and has remained, a standard to this day.

And with our all-new very smart SKEDD, the first direct, reversible connection in insulation

displacement technology for connection anywhere on the printed circuit board, we combine

evolution with revolution. This is the standard of tomorrow ...

Our production sites are highly specialized. In Schalksmühle, we focus completely on punching

and bending techniques for metal; the Cloppenburg-based factory is dedicated to injection

molding and assembly while Świebodzin in Poland is meanwhile more than just the brilliant

mind backing the labor-intensive production.

It goes without saying that your product’s cable assembly is also at the top of our list. From

manual tongs to our top product, our fully-automatic VARICON machines: We give your harness

makers every option from a single source, to terminate cables efficiently with our connectors

– be it for small, medium or large-scale production.

What started as a request for a lead frame with high current contacts evolved into a more

deeply complex project, allowing us to apply many of our technological competences to meet

the customer’s demands.

In doing so, we in corporate sophisticated produc tion technologies into fully automatic assembly

lines. Here, 27 individual components are processed in 46 process stages.

This example of a complex sub-assembly shows the production of an electronic module for

engine cooler ventilator drives of high-performance passenger cars. In this unit, we manufacture

different versions of this module for different car models even for several OEMs on our pro-

duction line built in-house for our customer.

A large catalog range is our mission. Customized system solutions developed jointly with you

are the highlights:

The starting point for teaming up with this customer is their request for a compatible connector

from our catalogue. Many talks produce a complex new idea: an individual, modular contact

pressure connector in IP54 with assembled and overmolded cables. In addition to the originally

sought connector it offers the added plus of optimizing assembly and test processes paired

with distinctive installation benefits. The end result is a lead that proves worthwhile.
