The town council of Zaldibar wanted a new building for nursery school and kindergarten. The building had to be designed to be built in two stages, so that the rst stage (nursery school) had to be able to operate independently and when the budget allowed it, build the stage two (kindergarten); both stages had to work as a single building, with common services. The main aim was a modular building in which every stage could be built in a summer period, with the most advanced energy-saving installations and complying with all regulations required for children care.

RESTORATION OF A MODERNIST HOUSE: AMATLLER _1 [2011]

Amatller House is one of the most important buildings in the Spanish Modernism. Along with Batll House and Lle-Morera House it makes up the three most important buildings in Barcelonas famous Block of Discord. Designed by Josep Puig i Cadafalch, was the headquarters of the Amatller Institute of Hispanic Art until 2010. The restoration project of the main oor and the general access is nished and the works are planned to begin through 2012.

The Castle is located in the city center of Buol. For ages, the dwellings have been built against its walls. Nowadays most of these buildings are ruins and are going to be demolished therefore the city council organized this competition to improve the surroundings and entrances of the castle and propose new uses for the free spaces, with a very limited budget.

HEADQUARTERS OF CASA DEL MEDITERRANEO FOUNDATION [2010]

The Casa del Mediterraneo Foundation organized this competition to restorate an old train station into his new headquarters. We projected a new construction underneath the railroad platform for the auditorium with an open air access, to protect the space and the internal structure of the original building where are placed the of ces and the other spaces required.

The city hall of this city was located in a small and old manor. The project triplicates the surface of the City Hall by three ways: restoration of the main building, recovering the adjacent one and construction a new one in the back yard. The restoration of the main building was complicated due to the lack of foundations; it was needed to improve the structure without changing it, therefore new foundations were built under the original pillars and perimeter walls. The new building concentrates all the big spaces like the auditorium, the warehouse and some of the reunion spaces.

The ancient convent f San Pio V, located outside the city walls in Middle Age is nowadays one of the most important museums in Spain due to its collections. In the last decades, several interventions have been made to update its facilities. This competition was organized to restorate part of the facade and one of the cloisters, renovate the installations and extend the exhibition areas and warehouses.

Located in the city center of Valencia, this urban palace built around the Moorish wall, was restored to be a 5* hotel. The patrimonial regulations and the quality standards of the 5* hotels made this project a puzzle to be assembled in the Middle-Age urban pattern of Valencias downtown.

Located in Albir beach, the headquarters of the Frax Foundation is going to be one of the cultural referents of the region with two exhibition areas, a library, a conference room and an auditorium for 500 seats .

This complex is designed to house several institutes of research linked with the University of Alicante. The aim of the project is to design a building with all the facilities that this kind of uses require but with enough freedom to let every institute to occupy all the space it needs, with the possibility to build a new oor when it were needed.

Located in the city center of the historical village of Almansa, quite near the castle, the new municipal market was equipped to be the new commercial center of the region with a mall, of ces, parking, several outdoor and indoor shops and a modern market.

College Work

The Memorial Museum of the Spanish Civil War is my Final Project of the College. Belchite is a small village who suffered several attacks from both sides and its ruins were maintained as a symbol. I placed the museum in the city center, in front of one of the main churches, in the bottom part of the village, trying to recover the urban pattern and not to impose its volume over the other constructions while it is the new front to the other villages.
