Alessandro Tombelli is a graduate of the Natural Horticulture Institute
of Florence. He is an author and advisor to some of the world’s most
celebrated gardens. Delightful, fun-loving and talented, Alessandro will
guide you through his favorite pathways of renowned Florentine gardens
and introduce you to the springtime magic of private Tuscan estates.
CHEF PIETRO SCOTTI ALESSANDRO TOMBELLI
Chef Pietro Scotti is an artist in the kitchen and has turned out culinary
masterpieces in his Westport, Connecticut restaurant, Da Pietro’s, since
1988. Zagat described Da Pietro’s as “Perfection”, Patricia Brooks of The
New York Times rated it “excellent” and Wine Spectator has awarded
Da Pietro’s numerous awards. The most important reviews arrive daily
from discerning customers that consistently rate Da Pietro’s one of their
favorite dining experiences. Chef Pietro’s impeccable culinary skills, his
abundant energy, warm hospitality and endearing smile, make the whole
experience simply irresistible
The atmosphere is informal and lively. When at the villa, you will be indulged with wonderful food pre-
pared by Chef Pietro, the highlight of which will be 4 interactive cooking classes where he will share the
secrets of some of his favorite recipes. You will also be dining at several local family-owned enotecas and
trattorias to sample distinctive regional wines and cuisine.
The Villa Boccella is one of the most desirable villa’s in Tuscany. It
combines 18th century elegance with the right balance of modern
amenities to make your stay comfortable. It is ideally located for
daily excursions with easy access to the ancient walled city of
Lucca. The estate, with its vineyards and olive groves, still produces
its own wine and oil. The villa is designed with several sitting rooms,
chapel, and a library (there is Wi-Fi). The extensive grounds feature
a swimming pool, walking trails, beautiful views over looking the
valley, and outdoor areas for al fresco dining.
