College of Business One University Place Shreveport, LA 71115- Visiting Professor of Business 9-Month Position The AACSB accredited College of Business at Louisiana State University Shreveport seeks applications for non-tenure-track positions from versatile, qualified scholars at the rank of Visiting Professor to begin in August of 2020. These new positions have resulted from strong and persistent growth in the College of Business enrollment. These positions will report to the Associate Dean of the College of Business. Areas of greatest need include Management and Marketing. Preference will be given to qualified applicants who can teach/research in multiple areas aligning with our degree programs, areas of specialization, and areas of concentration. Requirements: Applicants should have a terminal degree in a business discipline or closely related area. ABD applicants will be considered. Candidates must have their terminal degree from an institution with an AACSB accredited program. Other candidates will not be considered. Candidates are expected to teach online and/or face-to-face. Depending on qualifications and skills, candidates may occasionally have the opportunity to teach at the graduate level. Candidates will be expected to stay qualified in one of the four areas of our AACSB faculty qualification standards.
