    6:00am Depart from LSSUs Norris Center

    10:30am Estimated arrival to Forest Akers East Golf Course

    11:15am Warm-up for Mens race

    11:50am Warm-up for Womens race

    12:00pm Mens Race

    12:35pm Womens Race

    Following races Mens and Womens Teams cool-down followed with squads andlunges.

    2:00pm Estimated Departure from MSU

    3:00pm Lunch/Dinner in Mt. Pleasant, MI

    Transportation:

    2x15 passenger turtle buses with Steve and Mike as drivers. Additional drivers include: Matt R,

    Dion, Swain.

    Meals:

    Pre-Race: food will be provided on the bus. Food will include:

    Water, cliff bars, bananas, bagels, peanut butter, and honey.

    Post race: lunch/dinner: Italian Oven in Mt. Pleasant, MI.

    Travel Squad:

    I plan to race all healthy, eligible, and cleared athletes. Please note I consider healthy to include

    those who have completed all practice in a minimum of the week prior. In particular hard workouts

    need to be completed.

    Entry Procedure: *** Teams and individuals must register to compete on .athlet ic .n et for theSpartan Invite by Friday, September 7 at 8pm. Entries and race assignmentswill be posted on the MSU Cross Country webpage, .M S U S parta n s .c o m onSunday, September 9th.*** Coaches will have the opportunity to correct any mistakes from 8am-8pmon Monday, September 10th. After 8pm on Monday September 10th, ALLENTRIES ARE FINAL!!*** High school teams may enter only 1 varsity team, no exceptions.*** Please enter the entire team in your selected varsity division. Your teamcan then run any 7 athletes in the varsity race with the remainingcompeting in the J.V. race.*** L a t e e n t r y f e e is $ 75.0 0 per ge n de r ; contact meet director for late entrprocedure.

    H.S. Races: We will be contesting races in 4 different divisions. The Spartan Elite races

    will be comprised of the top teams from the 2011 MHSAA State meet, teams

    currently ranked highly by MITCA, and by request.The Green races will include

    Division 1 & 2 teams, Bronze races Division 2 & 3 teams, and White races will

    be comprised of Division 3 & 4 schools. Please register for a race your team

    matches and request a change from the meet director if you feel it is

    warranted. Meet management intends to contest 4 competitive and fair races.th

    Awards: High School - Varsity and middle school races will have official awardsceremonies

    Varsity Races: Top 3 teams and 30 individuals will receive awards.The fastest male/female of the day will receive an Elite Individual AwardJV Races: Top 50 individuals will receive awards

    Middle School -Top 2 teams and 50 individuals in each race will receiveawards.

    Admission Prices: Adult - $7.00Students - $5.00 (with validstudent ID) Children 8 and under -$3.00

    Packet Pick-up & Course Inspection: Available meet day starting at 10:30 a.m.

    High School and Middle School teams not arriving by an official school bus and orhaving team gear dropped off and picked up at Forest Akers East must request Drop-off passes by Tuesday, September 11.

    Race Results: Results will be posted at the awards area after each race. Coaches can acquirerace results at the finish line with the results coupon in their packets.
