LOZLVI SARMI /STUFFED GRAPE LEAVES/ was made by ADI (student from“ St.St KIRIL i METODIY“)
the DAMYANITSA village
Ingredients: Preparation:
15-20 grape leavies Steam grape leavies.Fry the onion in the oil until brown .Add
3 onions, chopped the minced meat and cook for another 8-10 minutes
3 cups white rice stirring from time to time.Add the rice ,paprike, celery and
500g/minced meat –beef/ oregano and add water.Boil until water is absorbed.Use the
3 tablespoon oil mixture to fill the leaves, shaping them like bundles.Put in a pot,
1 teaspoon paprika fill with water so the bundles are fully submerged,boil for about
3 cups water 45 minutes.You can bake them in the oven in a baking dish full
some salt of water instead .Best when served with some yoghurt on top
and sliced lemons. Mmm It`s DELICIOUS !!!
