King Rama II memorial park This park was built under the project to honour King Rama II, run by the King Rama II Phraboromrachanusorn Foundation under royal patronage. The park area is significant because it was the birthplace of the King. Interesting features of the park are four Thai style buildings exhibiting art objects in the early Rattana-kosin period and expressing ways of life of the Thais who lived during the reign of the King.

How to get there

Public transport The easiest way is the minivan from The Century (underneath victory monument BTS) and Bangkok bank—Ampawa Mon-Fri : every hour from 6am—7pm Weekend: every half hour from 6am-8pm Tel. Bangkok 087-667-2391, Ampawa 082-721-0361

Private transport Take Highway 35 (Thon Buri – Pak Tho) to Km 63 and drive through the town of Samut Songkhram. Switch to Highway 325 (Samut Songkhram – Bang Phae). Take a left turn between Km 36-37 for around 1 km.
