Target Market & Qualification Requirements
Target Market • Income is at or below 135% LICO • Occupants of single detached, semi-detached and townhomes • Private homeowner or tenant who pays their own gas bill • Tenants in social and assisted housing, regardless of who pays the bill • This program does not affect income from government assistance programs • All upgrades installed at no cost by Union Gas authorized contractors

a certified energy advisor Insulation for basement/crawl space,
walls and attic as well as air sealing measures based on the needs of the home
Installed Basic Measures: energy efficient water saving showerheads, kitchen and bathroom aerators and foam pipe wrap
Programmable thermostat installed by a certified gas fitter
Carbon Monoxide detector

After obtaining endorsement from Chief & Council our delivery agent will:
• Connect with community Project Lead for training/setup info session.
• Hire local community members to assist Project Lead as canvassers.
• Host a Community Launch Event to:
Educate community members on conservation strategies and our program
Application intake
Introduce Project Lead as key contact in the community
• Setup scheduling for energy assessments – complete insulation and final assessment within a designated timeframe.
