HUMAN LOVE

Page 2: Love and marriage 6

Marriage, is not the effect of chance -

or the result of the blind evolution of natural forces.

- The couple freely enter into this like a contract.

Page 3: Love and marriage 6

It is not, merely a question of natural instinct or emotional drive.

Page 4: Love and marriage 6

It is above all, an act of the free will, whose trust is such

that it is meant not only to survive the joys and sorrows of daily life,

Page 5: Love and marriage 6

but also to grow, so that husband and wife become in a way one heart

and one soul, and together attain their human fulfillment.

Page 6: Love and marriage 6

This love is destined to help the couple

realize themselves in life more completely

HUMAN LOVE - has certain characteristics

Page 8: Love and marriage 6

It is love for a PERSON in their uniqueness;

their temperament, character,

virtues and vices,

circumstances and background,

education and culture.

Page 9: Love and marriage 6

Both are unique and irrepetible

Page 10: Love and marriage 6

Their relationship and

union is also UNIQUE.

are the same –

Each couple will form

a unique family -

Page 11: Love and marriage 6

the childen with their own characters,

and order and sex, make infinite

possible combinations that give

a UNIQUE quality to all families.

Page 12: Love and marriage 6

It is a love which is TOTAL.

It is love for the totality of the other person,

in their completeness with the totality of my person

Page 13: Love and marriage 6

that very special form of personal friendship in which husband

and wife GENEROUSLY SHARE everything, allowing no unreasonable

exceptions and not thinking solely of their own convenience.

Page 14: Love and marriage 6

Whoever really loves his spouse

loves not only for what he receives,

but loves that partner for the partner's own sake,

content to be able to enrich the other with the gift of oneself

Page 16: Love and marriage 6

The acceptance of this commitment is FOREVER

Married love is also faithful and this until death.

Page 17: Love and marriage 6

It means committing yourself to this

individual in his/her entirety

which means as long

as they last in this life.

Therefore true love is FOREVER.

Page 18: Love and marriage 6

We cannot imagine marriage for a year or two,

putting limits on love as in the so called “trial marriage”

FAITHFUL AND EXCLUSIVE

It is not posible to give marital type love to more than one personBecause of it’s total and intímate nature (psychological, affective, passionate)

Page 20: Love and marriage 6

The love of a married couple is particular and special, just between them

And it cannot be duplicated or repeated with another

Page 21: Love and marriage 6

This is how husband and wife understand it on the day on which,

fully aware of what they are doing,

they freely vow themselves to one another in marriage.

Page 22: Love and marriage 6

Though this fidelity of husband and wife sometimes presents difficulties,

no one has the right to assert that it is impossible;

It is, on the contrary, always honorable and meritorious.

Page 23: Love and marriage 6

The example of countless married couples proves not only

that fidelity is in accord with the nature of marriage, but also

that it is the source of profound and enduring happiness.

Page 24: Love and marriage 6

Marriage is a natural institution, inscribed in the physical,

biological and psychological nature of man

Page 25: Love and marriage 6

Husband and wife, through that mutual gift of themselves,

which is specific and exclusive to them alone, develop that union

of two persons in which they perfect one another,

Page 26: Love and marriage 6

Fecund or fruitful

It is not confined

wholly to the loving

interchange of

husband and wife;

it also contrives

to go beyond this

to bring new life

into being.

and they participate in the natural laws of generation of new lives.

Page 28: Love and marriage 6

And in the social function of rearing these their children

This love is above all fully HUMAN,

a compound of SENSE and SPIRIT

'Cause all of me

Loves all of you

Love your curves and all your edges

All your perfect imperfections

Give your all to me

I'll give my all to you

You're my end and my beginning

Even when I lose I'm winning

'Cause I give you all of me

And you give me all of you,
