around the island range from 16 ºC right the way through to 27 ºC, resulting in one of the longest diving

seasons in the Mediterranean area. The absence of plankton blooms makes for amazing visibility.

The underwater coastal reefs teem with a wide variety of colorful fish, sponges, coral, sea anemones,

octopus, mussels and the ubiquitous sea urchin providing a spectacular picture, while sea turtles can be

spotted regularly on most coastline areas. Spectacular underwater caves and tunnels and a number of

interesting paths are just waiting to be explored, while the remains of ancient amphora and stone

anchors make it a veritable adventure.

Amongst the variety of dive sites lies the RO-RO Zenobia Ferry Wreck is known as being one of the most

famous 10 Wrecks to dive in the world, follow this with four marine protected areas means that it is well

worth a visit to the island in itself.

Description:

If you’ve always wanted to learn how to Scuba Dive, discover new adventures or simply

see the wondrous world beneath the waves, this is where it starts. Take a scuba lesson

with the PADI. SSI, SDI, NAUI Open Water Diver Course and get your scuba certification.

The course consist of:

5 Theory modules, 5 pool sessions and 4 open water dives.

Duration: 3 ½ days

The qualification does not expire but it is recommended to take a refresher dive if

you have not been diving for 6 months or longer

Minimum age: 10 years old

The certification does not expire and allows you to dive independent of an

Instructor to a max of 18 meters with another dive buddy.
