Finishing
Weave in ends. Lightly block to open up lace.
Before blocking a finished project, measure the dimensions and write them down. Soak the piece in water or wash it according to the yarn care instructions. Lay it out flat on a few dry towels and gently arrange, pat, or stretch it into the shape/dimensions you want. The original measurements will help you determine how much larger or smaller it should be after blocking. Let it dry completely before use. If the yarn is stretchy and doesn’t stay blocked, try placing another dry towel on top of it to weight it down until it is fully dry.
