Esta es la historia de una mama gallina,y sus pollitos. Antes de que lleguen, ella muy paciente-
mente espera a sus hijitos. Para cuidarles cuando tengan hambre y cuando sientan frio .
This is the story of a mother Hen and her little chicks. Before they hutch, she awaits very
patiently for the arriving of her little ones. To care for them, when they are hungry and cold.

La gallinita, se sienta sobre sus huevitos espera, espera y espera por casi tres semanas.
She sat on the eggs to wait, wait and wait for almost three weeks.

Un buen día de Primavera. Crac, cric …. Croc.
On a nice Spring day…… crack, creek crock.

Y todos los pollitos dijeron Pio, pio, pio
Los pollitos dicen, pío, pío, pío,
cuando tienen hambre
Pio, pio,pio

And all the little chicks went peep, peep, peep.
Little chicks say peep, peep, peep.
Whenever they are hungry.

Whenever they are cold.

Mother hen scratches for corn and for wheat.
She feeds them all gladly and covers them to sleep.

Under mother wings cozy and warm until next day, they snug to sleep.
