LORENZ-Montagesysteme GmbH develops, produces and sells

the LORENZ® mounting system for solar power systems all

over the world. After 10 years of experience as the branded

mounting system of Energiebau Solarstromsysteme GmbH, the

two companies will continue to work closely together in future.

To ensure that everything goes according to plan on the roof,

the focus has naturally been on practicality in developing the

LORENZ® system. This has resulted in components which enable

fast, simple and flexible installation. LORENZ® is the product of

many years of experience with the solar trade, meeting the needs

of installers. As such, it is flexible, simple, extremely secure and

above all, quick to install.

The base plate and bracket arm. LORENZ® roof hooks were

designed using the latest methods developed in cooperation

with Cologne University of Applied Sciences. Strictly speaking,

they consist of two components: a base plate and a bracket arm.

Load testing and material stress analyses have been used to

optimise the design, eliminating the possibility of overloading.

As a result, the stability of our roof hooks has been proven to be

better than those of all our competitors, while the reliability of

the roof hooks has also been confirmed by independent inspec-

tors. The base plate is a component subject to extreme stress

factors, in which we used vertical, side stop-ridges and a stable

box shape to achieve maximum rigidity. The robust LORENZ®

bracket arm is available in two materials.

One particular benefit is that the bracket arm can support

heavier loads at a lower cost due to the extremely high tempera-

ture galvanisation of the fine grain steel. Should customers or

the region (e.g. a maritime climate) have special requirements,

we recommend the stainless steel version.

The support bracket.

An innovation developed specifically for the LORENZ® mounting

system. Inserting a support bracket between the cross batten and

the base plate of the roof hook reduces the pressure on the

wood. In turn, this helps to stop the bracket arm sinking and

prevents tile breakage. This gives a significant increase in load

reserves and a 40 % improvement in deformation results that are

already excellent.

LORENZ® solo

Our robust jack-of-all-trades: LORENZ® solo offers a simple yet

smart solution to the most demanding requirements. The

single-layer mounting system requires a minimum of com-

ponents and is compatible with all types of solar modules.

The profiles provide stable support to the module frames at just

the right points, helping to reduce loads on the frames. The

system is approved for all module types in all snow and wind

load regions.

LORENZ® eco

Simply twice as flexible. Thanks to its two-layer design, LORENZ®

eco is exceptionally adaptable, levels out even large differences

in height during installation and ensures a homogenous module

surface on the roof. At the same time, installation is fast, prac-

tical and even possible by just one person. The reason is that

the modules can be easily placed into the cross profiles. Yet this

system requires scarcely more material than the solo series and

delivers an impressive price/performance ratio.

The LORENZ® plus model has end-to-end clamps and covering

rails that conceal the gaps between modules as well as the

outside edges, ensuring a uniform module surface. Even better,

these clamp rails are available in both silver and anodised black,

so that the system itself can match the colour of the solar

modules. In this way LORENZ® plus also satisfies the highest

LORENZ® aero12 is a modular mounting system for flat roofs,

setting new standards in mounting, logistics and planning

through its simple handling characteristics. The system can

be mounted easily and quickly using modular construction

techniques, without penetrating the roof. Pre-assembled units

such as the innovative folding supports can be installed in just

a few simple steps, ensuring that the whole mounting process

runs smoothly.

LORENZ® aero designer, enables you to get

the very best from your mounting system. It

not only ensures automatically that you opti-

mise the space available for modules but it

shadows can be calculated according to the

time of year.

The LORENZ® delta mounting system for flat roofs comprises

a sturdy and corrosion-resistant aluminium structure that

can be used anywhere. Each of the individual rows are

installed on triangular stands with an angle of elevation

that can be varied in 5°C increments between 15° and 25°.

It is suitable for roof surfaces made of either profiled or

corrugated sheeting.

The system is firmly fixed to the roof, usually with hanger bolts,

and is suitable for roof inclines of up to 15°. The modules

are mounted on end and combined with system

components from the LORENZ® solo range.

Diagonal mounting is possible on request.

The LORENZ® delta system can be mounted

in either a north-south or east-west direction.

Three times easier: The pre-assembled triangular stands require minimal transportation space. Thanks to the telescopic rails, installation is quick and simple.
