HOMEGROUP HAPPENINGS!

JAPANESE CALLIGRAPHY

Foundation Fun!

This week on Wednesday we had the new foundation students for 2018 in for their third transition day at school. Our current foundation students took up their 2018 role as ‘year 1 leaders’ and joined in on a session of craft with the new students. It was so lovely to see the new year 1 leaders modelling the behaviours and

expectations of ‘REAL’ Ruby Red students. The statewide transition day is in two weeks time on Tuesday 12th December. On this day all students across the school will transition into their 2018

homegroups for the day. I am looking forward to spending the day with the 2018 Ruby Red Homegroup and partaking in some fun activities.

YEAR 2 SLEEPOVER!

The best sleepover ever I was racing to the car. We arrived at school. Then I went to the Ruby Red classroom and I started rolling out my sleeping bag, after that I ran outside to play with my

friends. After we played I helped Mr. Williams with the BBQ then we had dinner. Then we lit the campfire. Later on we roasted marshmallows. The next day I had Cheerios for breakfast then we played outside. I played in the sandpit and the playground. By Thomas

Year 2 sleepover Oh boy it’s the Year Two sleepover. We packed lots of things. I had a quick shower before I left and after the shower I got ready to go to the Year Two sleepover. When we got there my dad set up my bed where I was going to sleep. We made pictures with sand and glue. Then we had a bit of free time on the playground. By Leaigha

Sleepover Wow Emma that was terrific! Let’s go home, go see your dad and get your bags. Here is the lolly that I picked for you. You’re the best at cheerleading. “Elizabeth would you like to wear one of Emma’s singlets?” “Okay” I reply. I put on a singlet that Emma gave me. EMMA! ELIZABETH! Hurry up and get in the car. When we get to the Sleepover I set up my stuff and be freeeeeeeee. I go and help make the salad. By Elizabeth
