When joining yarn, join at the beginning of a new row. Leave a 6” yarn tail of the old color and the new color. Join the yarns by making a knot close to the work. Place a stitch marker on peg 6 and on peg 186. Cast on 190 pegs using Yarn A. Row 1: Knit to the end of the row. Row 2: Purl to the end of the row. Row 3: Knit to the end of the row. Row 4: Purl to the end of the row. Row 5: Knit to the end of row. Row 6: Purl 5, knit to peg 185, purl last 5 pegs. Row 7: Knit to the end of row. Row 8: Purl 5, knit to peg 185, purl last 5 pegs. Row 9: Knit to the end of row. Row 10: Purl 5, knit to peg 185, purl last 5 pegs. Join B, and continue as follows: Row 11: Knit to the end of row. Row 12: Purl 5, knit to peg 185, purl last 5 pegs. Repeat Rows 11 and 12 until piece measures 38” long. Change yarns every 10 rows, following this color sequence: A, B, C, D. On the last color change, work 6 rows in established pattern. Work last 6 rows as follows: Next row: Knit to the end of row. Next row: Purl to the end of the row. Next row: Knit to the end of the row. LOOM: Afghan Loom, needs 196 pegs.
