Hair Care
▪ The hair follicles produce oil. The oil, dirt, sweat and dead cells from your scalp all add together and make your hair greasy and look dirty unless you wash it regularly.
▪ Wash with shampoo daily.
▪ Massage scalp to remove the dead skin cells and excess oil.
▪ Be sure to brush or comb your hair after you wash it!
Teeth Care
▪ Bacteria grows in your mouth every day.
▪ Brush your teeth twice a day; morning and night
▪ Use toothbrush and toothpaste for a clean mouth.
▪ Mouthwash can be used for fresher breath.
Feet and Shoes
▪ Our feet have a very large collection of sweat glands and can cause very unpleasant odor!
▪ Wash your feet daily with soap and warm water.
▪ Be sure to dry them well, especially between the toes.
▪ Our shoes get damp from the sweat our feet produce. Rotate what shoes you wear to allow them to air and dry out.
Clean Clothing
▪ Clothing gets stained and dirty and collects odors. Sweat, dead skin cells and dirt collect in our clothing.
▪ Change clothing at least once a day, right after bathing.
▪ Undergarments are especially important to change regularly. Body fluids that leak out can cause very noticeable body odor.
Other tips
▪ Underarm perspiration causes an unpleasant smell. Reduce this odor by bathing and using deodorant every day.
▪ Perfumes and colognes may also be used but wear it lightly. Very strong perfume smell is not pleasant either!
▪ Chewing mint flavored gum can help with bad breath in between teeth brushings.
▪ Clean out your ears regularly. Ear wax build up is not only unpleasant to look at, it also can cause hearing loss.
