We are proud to report that all 1,383 campers and 226 staff had an amazing time at C3 this summer!! I would like to thank all campers, counselors and staff for a fantastic and memorable 2019. from the boys camp...I am so proud to say that we are preparing for our

5th summer and how time flies. It seems like yesterday that we were cutting new roads, clearing cedar trees, planting grass, building lazy rivers, infrastructures and water slides.

We opened our gates in 2016 with 4 boy cabins, 4 girl cabins and 4 terms. I remember how proud and excit-ed we were when that first bus pulled into our newly paved entrance to launch C3’s first summer. (remember to check out our mosaic art project on the lazy river representing our inaugural summer).

We are adding our final two cabins this season which will allow us to call ourselves a 20-cabin camp. What a great run so far and we are extremely grateful to our camp families for sharing their campers & counselors with us to make all this happen.

I just wanted to remind all placed and wait listed campers to continue submitting their month-ly Merit Questions as well as inform you of a few upcoming dates next year:

DATES TO REMEMBERFEB. 1 Cancellation deadline for PLACED camp-ers to receive a deposit refund. Please call or email us prior to Feb.1 if your camper must cancel. Let us know if you want your deposit refunded or rolled over to summer 2021.

APR. 1 The Parent’s Information Packet will be mailed, which includes tuition invoice, online medi-cal release information, need list and other import-ant information to be completed by May 1st.

from the Director... It was another great summer at Camp Long-horn C3! Some say that Camp Longhorn is the “happiest place on earth,” and we owe it to all the campers and staff for creating that amazing environment. We had over 1,300 campers this sum-mer at C3 from 29 different states. Thank you all for making this summer a great one! We would also like to recognize our amazing staff; they are such a huge part of what makes Camp Longhorn so special. To all the Counselors and staff in the Chow Hall, Pit Stop, Merit Store/Mailroom, Office, Shop, and Laundry, thank you for all your effort this summer! We had over 300 unique staff members that worked at C3. We even had staff that traveled from places like Brazil, India, Mexico and Columbia to spend their summer on the shores of Inks Lake. CLH! 4th Termers Hayden & Ashley Taylor have been very busy bees as well. They competed in the 2019 Texas State USBC Youth Bowling Championship back in June

Let’s celebrate! January 2020...the 17th and 18th in HORSESHOE BAY...The fun will start Friday night, which is for visiting and catching up. Then Saturday, after a day spent at the camps, it’s time for a great “campfire” by JOHN MILLER and cast! It’s open for our exes from the 40’s, 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, and 80’s!
