Long Live our Federation of SBI Pensioners
Comrades,
It was a red letter day in the history of our
SBI Pensioners throughout the country as the 90%
of the Adhoc payment of the arrears to the 5th,
6th & 7th Bipartite settlement were started from
15.07.2017 onwards and would continue to be paid
to the pensioners upto 31.07.2017 as advised by
our federation. We are very happy to announce
that after a hard fought negotiations with the Bank's
Apex level authorities, this achievement could be
possible and we have been continuously apprising
our members throughout the struggle period. We
are also thankful to all the members of SBI
Pensioners Association for their support and
patience. It was a team effort to get this demand
approved by the Govt. of India and our thanks to
the worthy Chairman of our Bank for keeping her
promise to release the arrears in the month of
July, 2017. As a mater of fact, the arrears could
only be paid when the E.C.B. at Corporate Office
and the Government had to be cleared by them.
Since this procedure could not be completed, as
such the 90% of the arrears in the form of Adhoc
payment has been released. Congratulations to all
the members and specially to the affected
members who have got handsome payment and

We were always optimistic about the
captioned development and had apprised this in
our July pensioners mail. Comrades, this is not
the end of the road and our struggle for our other
demands i.e. payment of 50% pension at the last
drawn scale, not at the starting scale of the retired
members. The next day of our hearing of Writ No.
1875/2013 is scheduled to be heard on 11.08.2017
at Delhi High Court. We assure you that the day is
not far off when our this justified demand is acceded
