A third generation Real Estate investor and landlord Top Agent London Fields grew up watching his relatives, who lived through the depression, buy and hold property and collect rents. After London bought and sold many properties of his own it was a natural transition to become a REALTOR ® and represent others with this passion. London proceeded to earn his real estate license in 2004 and in 2005 he was the rookie of the year for his office and went on to become the #1 agent in sales volume 6 times over the next 10 years. Selling real estate in San Diego proves to be a challenge for all agents because there are over 20,000 agents in a competitive Southern Cali- fornia Coastal market. Naturally, London real- ized that he was going to have set himself apart from the rest of his competition if he wanted to succeed. “The San Diego Market is saturated with agents. So it takes a lot of dedication and hard work if you want to make it. I am the first one to arrive at the office and the last to leave. The more hours you put in, the better results you are going to have,” recalls London. Apart from his long work hours, London also be- lieves that he owes much of his success to the consideration he gives to his clients needs. “I really focus on my clients needs rather than sale price. I just simply focus on what kind of house is going to best suit the buyer, what their needs are, and how I am going to find it.” When London lists a home he listens to the sellers to see what’s most important; dollars, timing or even sheer simplicity. However, merely meeting the needs of his clients is far from being the only secret behind London’s vast success. London goes above and beyond to make cer- tain that his clients know he cares for them on a personal level. I don’t spare much expense buying thank you gifts for my clients, some of whom I speak to often and others I may have not seen in several years or more, because folks get busy with their families, however they will always be the foundation of my business” London happily explains. London’s assured and consis- tent generosity towards his clients gains him much love and gratitude from his clients and helps his referral-based business thrive. London utilizes a lifestyle magazine and sends his client’s copies via regular mail and online with special messages and client success stories for his clients located within the magazine. And perhaps most impressive is London’s eye for photography. London insists on taking his time on photo shoots with professional lighting and design elements. In addition London always writes the marketing copy himself. “I love to list properties because it lets me be in control of the product. These days, if the photos and video of the property fails to peak your interest on your mobile device then you won’t be interested. In addition to selling real estate, London has been an avid contributor to the Muscular Dystrophy Association for over 40 years, going back to when he was a young boy. London has also sponsored a portion of the 5 freeway in San Diego for litter clean up to keep his community staying beautiful. Given London’s dedication to his clients and his community he is more than just a real estate agent, he is also a man in whom the happiness of others is his primary concern. London feels blessed to be selling Real Estate in Carlsbad and San Diego and plans to continue his superior customer ser- vice and charitable acts for many years to come.
