Regeneration Committee Croydon site visit 13 February 2014

London Assembly Regeneration Committee visited areas in Croydon to examine how the Mayor’s Regeneration Fund (MRF) is being used to regenerate the community after the civil disturbances in 2011.

The Committee met with Croydon Council members, residents and business owners to discuss what difference the funding will make in rebuilding the town financially but also how regeneration activities are fostering community pride and engagement.

London Assembly Members, Trevor Reeves and Councillor Perry visited the House of Reeves furniture store; one of the worst hit sites during the London riots.
