Prekindergarten Information Meeting for the 2014-15 School Year

• Campus configuration• Enrollment- 1,975 PK through 4th grade

• One half day Pre-Kindergarten section (pending enrollment)

• 22 students maximum

• Early Childhood Certified Teacher along with Full time Early Childhood Assistant (ECA) in every classroom.

Site Information…

• Full Day PK - 8:15-3:00 p.m.

• Half-Day PK - 8:15-10:45 a.m.

• Grace Living Center Multiage –

8:50-3:25 p.m.• Drop-off and pick-up

times are 15 minutes before/after class.

Schedules

• The children eat in the cafeteria.

• Send lunch money to school with your child or pay online at: mylunchmoney.com (transaction fee applies)

• Students may bring a lunch from home.

• Free/Reduced Lunch Forms will be available at Meet the Teacher in August.

large enough to hold folders.

• No wheels on backpacks.

• Always keep a change of clothes in your child’s backpack labeled with their name.

• LABEL with your child’s name clothes that are outerwear such as jackets, coats, sweaters, & sweatshirts.

Jenks West Adventure Club

Jenks West Adventure Club is a curriculum based program providing a fun and an enriched learning environment for children before and after school.

Our program is open 6:30 to 8:30 and 2:45 to 6:00.Located in building B, Room 103

Parent Teacher Action Group - PTAG• PTAG is a volunteer organization of parents, teachers

and administrators who work together to promote quality education. Yearly dues:$10.00

• School Supply Packets are on sale NOW at the PTAG table. Teachers LOVE the school supply packs! The Pre-K supplies are collected by your child’s teacher and used in the classroom as community property.

• Plastic Mats will be available for purchase from PTAG for $8.00
