Why the color(s)?

• Gray is a neutral color and fits with most other colors.

• Blue is my favorite color and represents tranquility, security and order.

Why the shape(s)?

• I really enjoy skiing and being in the mountains so I created a mountain range like design to display what I enjoy.

Why the quote?

• Being simple is a good way to live. • Having complex chord structures in music

doesn’t make a tune sound good, the player does.

• Complex music is not always intriguing or good.

• Making a situation complicated is easy, making it simple is not.

Why the picture?

• Charles Mingus is a very famous jazz musician and bass player and I am a jazz musician and bass player.

Why the font?

• It is a simple font due to what Mingus’ quote is saying about simplicity.

Why the font color?

• The red font color really stands out and creates contrast with the black and white background.
