These are all the boring logistics of our music video.

Transcript of Logistics.

Location, location, location.

LOCATION UNO: EL HALL.

This is our school hall and its stage. We will be doing our performance element on that stage, if we get permission. Which we need to ask for. We chose it because performance elements are generally in a normal performance area, such as a stage.

LOCATION DOS: MI CASAThis is my kitchen. This is where we will be filming the argument scene between me and Ben. We chose this location because it is domestic and it would be natural to argue here. There is only one problem I could foresee with this, and that is that my kitchen is quite small. If it doesn’t work out, we could switch to my living room.

LOCATION TRES: EL CASA DE HANNAH

We will be using Hannah’s house to film the part of our video with Hannah and Ben watching a film or something like that. Using a house gives the basis of normality.

We will also need Hannah’s house so that Hannah can be there when she gets the ‘phonecall’ from me exposing Ben.

LOCATION CUATRO: EL CASA DE LIVVY

We will use Livvy’s house as a place for her to be when she gets the ‘phonecall’ that exposes Ben.

LOCATION CINCO: LA PAVILION

This is the pavilion close to where we all live. This is where we will film the photobooth shots (there’s one there) but also where we will film Ben and Livvy walking and Ben checking out every female in sight. It had to be a public place so that it would be natural that other females would be there.

The Machine Ate Florence. This is The Machine Ate Florence. We will be in the video. It consists of me, Hannah and Livvy. We chose to use me and Hannah because of practicality, and we basically roped Livvy into it because she’s one of our best friends.Livvy Me Hannah

The Guy. Ben is going to be the guy in the video that plays the girls. Me and Hannah have very few male friends that would be willing to do this for us so, thanks Ben. We asked him because he’s in our class so understands the commitment and because he’s confident, so he won’t mind being in front of the camera. This is Ben.

Miscellaneous Cast.

We will be needing a couple other people to be in our video. We will need one or two females for Ben to check out in the pavilion. We may also need other people, but we need to work out everything.

Technology.

Page 13: Logistics.

We wanted to use a fog machine to create this effect on the floor; however, probably not as much as this because we don’t want to create a full on fog-floor. This would happen during the quieter “daddy, I’ve fallen for a monster” near the end of the song, as we were going to have me standing in the hall on my own and it’s going to be emotional.

Page 14: Logistics.

We will definitely, definitely, definitely need a tripod. We will obviously still set the shots up, but we will need a tripod for the performance shots especially. Seeing as me and Hannah are in the ‘band’, we will need something to hold the camera.

Page 15: Logistics.

If there are any spare cameras lying about, that would be absolutely fabulous. This would save us having to refilm the performance shots lots of times, as we would have different angles from different cameras, and reduce the risk of continuity errors.

Page 16: Logistics.

I am uncertain if we have a wind machine or anything. If we do, we’ll probably just put it on lightly (not so over the top that we fall over) during the performance sections of the video.

Costumes/clothing.

Page 18: Logistics.

For our performance element, we are going to conform to conventions and dress up (think Girls Aloud or the actual video for Black Heart). I am unnatural at this so it will probably look terrible and I apologise in advance for my awkwardness. I can’t speak for the other two, but this is the kind of thing I’ll be wearing for that part of our video.

Page 19: Logistics.

The rest of the video is set in everyday situations, so we’ll just be wearing casual clothing for this. Here is a picture of some of the casual things we might be wearing. These are girls’ clothes, but Ben will be in casual clothing as well. I just don’t own any guys’ clothes.
