ApplicationsThe Fakro Loft Ladder is a folding pine wood ladder. It provides easy and safe access to your loft. When folded, it is ‘hidden’ in the ceiling, freeing space inside the room.

Characteristics:— functional— durable — very comfortable — easy to install The Fakro loft ladder is a 3 or 4-part folding ladder. Its design and ma-terials used guarantee easy, comfortable, and safe access to the loft. The quick fixing system enables the ladder to be easily installed bytwo people, and also enables easy ladder height adjustment.

DesignNormally a 36 mm thick insulated hatch door is installed with all Fakro loft ladders. The hatch door is a pine wood frame, finished on eachside with a white or beige HDF panel and the space between is filledwith energy saving foamed polystyrene. The insulation coefficient is1.1W/m2K.

The outer side (visible when the door is closed ) of the hatch door is smooth with no fixing points visible. The lock and the metal polesupplied make closing of the hatch door easy.

The unique hatch door opening mechanism is designed in such a way that it does not hinder your access to the loft. The mechanism locks the entire ladder in position when open, ensuring it is stable for operational use. The springs can be adjusted to optimise the mo-mentum (force) of the lid when it is being opened. All ladders’ hatch doors are fully edge sealed with a sealing strip to minimise heat loss.

Treads are fitted using dovetail joints for added durability. There is aspace between the treads and the hatch for more comfortable foot positioning onto the treads and safety grooves are cut into the treads to prevent slipping.

The angle bracket fastening the ladder to the hatch enables the posi-tioning of the ladder to be adjusted.

Loft ladder LWK KomfortLWK KomfortThe LWK Komfort Loft Ladder is a folding ladder made of highest quality pine wood, supplied with an insulated hatch door, red painted metal handrail and stile ends (available only in the 3-section version). The hatch door is white on the inside and outside.

The treads protrude beyond the front of the ladder and there is a considerable space between the ladder and the hatch door. Such a design makes stepping onto the treads easer, thus increasing the ease of using the ladder.

The red-painted metal handrail is mounted on the ladder’s angle brackets. This makes climbing the lad-der easier.

The brown stile ends, mounted on the ladder feet, enhance the beauty, protect the floor and increasethe ladder’s stability.

Loft Ladder LTKLTK ThermoThermoInsulated loft ladders LTK Thermo are 3-section fol-ding ladders made of highest quality pine wood.

They differ from LWK Komfort loft ladders in the boxheight which is 22 cm and in thermo- insulated hatch door thickness which is 6.6 cm.

They can be used in buildings where there is a big temperature difference between the habitable andnon-habitable area. They create a thermo-insulating barrier and prevent heat loss into the loft.

The red-painted metal handrail is mounted on the ladder’s angle brackets, which makes climbing the ladder easier.

The brown stile ends, mounted on the ladder feet, enhance the beauty, protect the floor and increasethe ladder’s stability.

Sliding section of LDK ladder

Double sliding sections loft ladder LDK LDK Loft ladder LDK is a double section ladder with the bottom section sliding up and down . The ladder is made of highest quality pine wood and designed similar to LWK Komfort loft ladder but differs in themanner of folding the ladder.

Thanks to a specially designed mechanism it allows the client to slide one section towards the other and to save a swing space required when opening 3 and 4-section folding ladders.

Its modern system enables the ladder to be used in restricted areas where a normal long-section ladder is impractical.

As standard the LDK ladder is equipped with the red painted metal handrail mounted on the angle brackets of the ladder. This makes climbing the ladder easier.

Loft ladder LDK consists of two parts:

top part: box of the ladder with thermo-insulated hatch door, handrail and base ladder

section, bottom part: bottom sli-

The LWF fire-resistant loft ladder provides an easy ac-cess to the loft performing at the same time the func-tion of a blaze block in case of fire inside the building.The hatch, manufactured with the use of fireproofmaterials, is equipped with an expanding peripheral seal which ensures tightness during fire. The LWF loftladder possesses a fire resistance of 30 minutes.

The ladder’s segment folding system and the facility to lock the hatch in a fully opened position ensure an ease of operation. Safety is ensured thanks to the application of rounded side supporters and remaining hardware which do not pose any risk of injury.

It consists of a metal ladder and beige energy-sa-ving hatch with an insulation coefficient of 1.1 W/m²K.The 36mm thick, heat-insulating hatch significantlyreduces heat loss. Loft balustrade LXBThe pine wood Loft balustrade protects against falling down thro-ugh the ladder opening and makes it easier to climb down the ladder. It is mounted to the ladder casing. Additional metal flat-barsmounted on the entrance side strengthen the construction. The balustrade is available in one size, 70 x 130 cm. If fitting other lad-der sizes, cutting will be required for smaller ladders. For sizes over 70 x 130 cm exact size is required. The balustrade is 95 cm high. 8*

Handrail LXH The red-painted metal handrail is mounted on the angle brackets of the ladder, and can be mounted on either side of the ladder, making climbing easier. The rail is available in two lengths, 50 cm and 75 cm. The 50 cm handrails are suitable for ladders with box size up to 100 cm in length, and the 75 cm long handrails are suitable for ladders with box size above 100 cm in length. 8

Stile ends LXSThe brown stile ends are finishing elements mounted on the base ofthe ladder, adding a smart touch to its appearance. Thanks to its de-sign, they add to the ladder’s stability and are made from specially selected material to protect the floor from being scratched. They areeasy to install and can be mounted on ladders already in use. 8

Lining LXL Lining is designed to finish installation of the loft ladder and to covergaps in the ceiling which remain after the fitting process. They aremade from pine wood. Simple and easy fitting process allows fastinstallation on the ceiling.

Properly chosen width (3.5cm) and shape of lining gives the impres-sion of a professional installation of the ladder.

Lining LXL is available in white and in natural colour of wood for ladder box sizes 70 x 140 cm. If fitting smaller ladder box sizes- thelining has to be cut. 8*

Non-standard loft ladder sizes are available only in version LWS Smart and LWK Komfort and are manufactured in the sizes shown in the chart.

Such ladders are available for an additional charge of 60 % over and above the price of the next largest stock size. It is not possible to mount handrails on ladders with a ceiling opening width of less than 55 cm. When ordering non-standard size ladders, you must provide the actual dimensions of the loft opening. These dimen-sions will be reduced by the necessary clearance to allow proper installation of the ladder.

Fire resistant loft ladder LSFLSFA fire-resistant scissors ladder LSF providing easyand safe access to the loft while, at the same time, providing a fire block during a fire inside the building.It protects against fire and smoke expansion turningthe space into a fire free storey allowing precioustime while awaiting the fire brigade.

A scissors system of folding the ladder enables the ladder to be folded to smaller lengths and therefore allows smaller sizes of loft hatch to be achieved.

Specially designed hatch angle and regulation of the opening mechanism allows for easy ladder height adjustment (without cutting ) to the height of the room.

Elegant and modern style of the scissors loft ladder is achieved by the ‘’S’’-shaped frontal of the ladder.

LSF ladder is suitable for rooms with maximum he-ight up to 320 cm. The ladder height enlargement to match the room height can be achieved by installa-tion of an additional tread section.

The LST loft ladder provides an easy and safe access to the loft. The scissors construction makes ladder folding possible.

A 36mm thick, white, heat-insulating hatch with an in-sulation co-efficient of 1.1W/m²K significantly reducesheat loss. A peripheral seal in the lower part of the box guarantees first-class tightness.

The scissors system of folding the ladder and the possibility to lock the hatch in a fully open position en-sure an ease and safety of operation. The small ladder dimensions (50 x 78.6m) achieved thanks to the unique system of folding, allow the ladder to be installed in smaller openings.

The S-shaped strings give a modern appearance and perform the role of a handrail, facilitating climbing the ladder.

MSU Universal MSU Universal StaircaseThe ‘Miller’ staircase MSU Universal is a fixed, non-folding,and manufactured from solid spruce wood, staircase. Thanks to its simple and light construction, it can be instal-led to a number of different types of rooms and perfectlymatch with their interior.

Simple treads as well as a properly chosen angle of inclina-tion guarantee comfortable operational use of the stairs. The external width of the stairs is 65 cm. The stairs as stan-dard are provided without handrail. In order to enhance the comfort of use of the stairs it is possible to buy an MXH handrail. The handrail can be installed on left or right side of the stairs.

THE ”MILLER” STAIRCASE

Features: simple and light construction; in order to install the stairs only a small amount of space is required; fixing system enables the ladder to be easily installed by two people and allows

for easy ladder height adjustment; both the staircase and handrails are delivered ready for home assembly.

L-shaped combination door DWKDWK

The L-shaped combination doors are intended to be built into L-shaped walls. They provide an access to the unused space behind the L-shaped wall. First-class thermo-insulating parameters (U=1.1W/m2K) along with high tightness keep heat-loss to a minimum. The L-shaped door may be installed in two versions of opening i.e. to the right or to the left.

DWK L-shaped combination doors are equipped with 35 mm thick lining as standard in natural colour and with 36mm thermo-insulated sash which is made as a wooden frame and finished on each sides witha white HDF panel.

Features lining as standard; lock enabling tight door closing; universal opening; insulation coefficient: U = 1.1 W/m²K; thermo-insulation thickness: 3 cm; frame width: 9 cm; frame thickness: 2.7 cm.
