Dear Sirs, By letter dated June 28, 2011, (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System Accession No. ML1 1201A323), Lockheed Martin Nuclear Systems and Solutions (LMNSS) and State Nuclear Power Automation Systems (SNPAS) submitted Topical Report NuPACED610000-47-P titled "Generic Qualification of the NuPAC Platform for Safety-related Application" (Proprietary). By letter dated May 15, 2013, the US NRC transmitted Requests for Additional Information (RAI's) to Lockheed Martin for action and response. Attached is Lockheed Martin's response to RAI Number 5 for US NRC consideration. Additionally, Lockheed Martin is currently considering submitting a Public version of Revision A of the NuPAC Topical Report NuPACED610000-47 which will offer greater transparency (less material withheld from public disclosure). Our process for such releases is disciplined and deliberate and requires agreement from numerous internal stakeholders. Our intention is to release this material during July 2013 and we will advise in the event that additional time is required for internal reviews.
