RESTAURANT REVIEW OF LOCH FYNELoch Fyne is a great addition to the busy town of Chelmsford. Situated in the new development on Bond Street, it is a stone's throw away from Riverside Ice and Leisure Centre, alongside the river. Having been to some of the most famous restaurants around the world, I was delighted to write a first issue review for the Face of Chelmsford Magazine on a restaurant that is renowned for offering amazing seafood within the UK. If you enjoy good seafood then this really is the place to go. The restaurant seats 120 guests and is the perfect place for a business lunch, family gathering or an intimate meal for two. The service is outstanding and unlike many restaurants today you can have a quiet, relaxed meal or just nip in for a quick bite. You can even go in there as late as 10.00pm for a meal. The food is freshly prepared right in front of you in open kitchens so you know exactly where your food is being cooked. The waitresses are knowledgeable and recommended some superb dishes that I would not usually have ordered by looking at the menu. The menu is vast but not extreme, with a great selection of seafood and many other dishes. There was a selection of both meat and vegetarian dishes that sounded really tasty. The Seafood Selection is irresistible as the dish combines the best of king prawn, salmon, bream and scallops. The scallops, in particular, were just divine, definitely the best that I have ever tasted. If you have not yet tried this seafood restaurant, then you should definitely to book yourself a table.

A FEW THINGS ABOUT LOCH FYNE... The Wine Loch Fyne has a great selection of wines and almost all of them you can buy by the glass or bottle. Some of the wines are available as a half bottle too.

The Last Sitting A great advantage is that the last sitting for a meal is 10pm. If you get back late from work and it's too late for a meal almost everywhere else, you can go to Loch Fyne. Fantastic!

They also operate a pre-order service and have fully trained chefs to offer advice and cooking tips.
