Location Research. As a group we began to take and have an idea of what locations we needed within the video. After discussing these factors the “location shot” was taken into place. These are the thumbnails from the first shoot, not all of these were correct and lighting needs to be altered. So an additional shoot will be taken into place.

Analysing. This will be the opening shot to the video, this establishing shot is being used to portray to the audience the meaning of the genre. Placed in front of the building will be the actress in the video, the Mise En Scene will explain the story and show she is homeless and almost wanting to be in the house she has picked to place herself in front of.

This is where the actress will be placed, sleeping on a wall in a sleeping bag. This has been influenced by the original video “A team” as the message we are trying to portray to the audience is that the girl is not wealthy.

This is the beginning shot we are going to use. It is different from the picture above and the main factor of this is the colour scheme, when producing our music video it will be black and white similar to the picture above.

Mis en scene of this shot is very important and straight away gives an indication to the audience that the girl is homeless. The blanket/ sleeping bag along with the hoody she is wearing will also be included in our video.

This shot wanted to look like we were based in a park/ large open area. This is purely down to the original video of “A Team” and these are the conventions I will be following. After the establishing shot at the beginning this shot will follow with an older actress acting almost child like in her mannerisms which reflect on the original video by Ed Sheeran.

Where the actress will mainly perform.

Again the black and white colour scheme will carry on throughout.

This location has been chosen for our male actor/ singer to be placed as it carried the theme of the video throughout. We have placed him here as the background reflects on the Indie theme we have chosen to base the video around. This long shot flicks back and forwards to the narrative of our female actress.

Mise en Scene – Guitar will be placed in his hands.

Another location we are going to be using is in the centre of town, this is to produce this tracking close up shot which will then be followed by our male actor singing the original “A team” song.We can also see the actress in this shot still carrying the sleeping bag we witnessed in the first section of the video, I feel this shows to the audience she is of a low class and portraying she is still wearing the same items of clothing.

This darkened walkway has specifically been chosen to be give a negative feel, when this has been edited into black and white it will really fulfil the conventions of the music video we have aimed to do.

Here we want to include the young actress begging, in the video she has been placed in a central area but we feel this will add even more effect and reflect on the Indie theme.
