LOCATION RECCE

HOLT COUNTRY PARK

I think this location would be suitable as I know the area very well which will give me an advantage when it comes to filming. It’s also very close to me so I can get there easily.

From the images to the left you can see there is both open landscapes, condensed forests and areas of water which conforms to my idea of natural outdoor scenery. This will be for the long shots of fields and the sky that I’m going to overlay later in editing.

WEYBOURNE BEACH

This location is easy to get to which will be useful if I need to reshoot any scenes. There are cliffs here that look over the beach and towards the fields which I think will achieve my desired look for these scenes. I’m going to use this locations to film clips for my overlays that I’m going to put over the actor lip-syncing.

The only issue I could have is the weather as I won’t be able to film if it’s raining and I need shots of the sun. However, I will be able to adjust when I go according to the weather forecast.

CITY COLLEGE TV STUDIO

For this location there is a green screen as well as black and white curtains which is what I need for the backgrounds to my paint scenes and lip-syncing. I’ll also be making use of the lighting and cameras so achieve well-lit footage from various angles.

I’ve been on a tour of the studio and the technician will be there while I’m filming for help using the equipment and setting up. It’s also very easy for me to get to as it’s at the college where I study all day, this means I will be able to film during college hours.
