What I learned…• I choose to volunteer at the Nearly New Shop because I

wanted to help others including children get all the essentials that is needed to keep warm during the winter time.

• I also wanted to help those who have trouble purchasing clothing and other necessities; The Nearly New Shop is a great opportunity for those who need it the most.

• I have learned from this experience that I appreciate everything I have in my life and would never take anything for granted.

• This was all a brand new setting and experience for me and having the opportunity to work with the Ladies of Charity, and helping those in need touched my heart in many ways that I will never forget.

• Knowing that I helped a child in need receive warm clothing will impact my life forever.

Student Learning Outcome• I have learned that not everyone in this

world is as fortunate and any opportunity that is available for those who need it is what matters the most.

• I have learned to have an open mind and to be able to have a better understanding of others around me.

• Everyone has an equal opportunity to deserve what is best and this is the outcome I received from volunteering at The Ladies of Charity Nearly New Shop.
