Also note down the Google Business Page URL and if a category is listed. Analyze the Google Business Page and note down any areas that are not well optimized. Provide specific recommendations for how these areas of their Google Business Page could be improved and as a way of building rapport with your client, you will also want to list the items that are seen as done right with the page. Now that you have analyzed the Google Business Page, visit the website of the business. Analyze the website and any areas that are not well optimized according to the lecture Improving Your Local Visibility. Do they correctly incorporate the name, address and phone number within the website? Where is this information listed? Is any information missing? Are there additional opportunities for incorporating NAP into the site? List those opportunities. For the website, check title tags, heading tags, content, Alt-text of images, and URLs for 3-5 pages of the site and how to optimize each. Write down the current information and how location could be incorporated into each of these elements, where applicable. Provide a recommendation for how they can incorporate other pages in their site, and how those pages could be optimized for local SEO. • Include a map in the contact us page.• The website is build with wordpress. As you can watch in the 3 example pages that I've

provided the logo alt-text is ever name “logo”. I suggest to put ever “David Eshom DDS - San Diego Cosmetic Dentist”.

• Include the meta-tag “google publisher” with the URL to the Google Business Page• In the home page delete one Call Us action. It is provided 2 times in the same area.• NAP is included in all pages. But I suggest to provide a sidebar that scroll, so the users can

ever watch the NAP area.• When the user is watching the website from a mobile device the sidebar is putted on the

bottom. My advice is to put this are in the header.• Include rich snippets. The page is build with wordpress, so it's easy to add with some plugin.• Provide more descriptive alt-texts.• Investigate strategics business area and add “San Diego” in the headings tags. • Add “san-diego” in these URLs:

Business tactics to gain links

• Try to gain links from local news sources.• Improve the business presence in the social networks, in this business case I think the more

important are (google+, facebook, twitter). Offering blog content, specials discounts etc.• Try to collaborate with some professional dentist blog or magazines.• Make a donation/sponsor campaign for some charitable cause.• Offers discounts coupons. Maybe with some pop-up after a time that the visitor is on the

page• Think on a web redesign. I think that is the most important thing for a “Cosmetic Dentist”. If

you make a really awesome design you can use it to promote on mass media as a the new image of the business, and gain some links.
