Round 2 Awards Announced

Beavercreek Township was awarded a loan for $465,000 to implement the MARCS system with seven collaborative partners.

Round 3 Applications Under Review

The application period for Round 3 of the program is now closed. 87 requests for grant funding and three requests for loan funding were received. Awards will be announced by early December.

Local Government Innovation Fund (LGIF) The Local Government Innovation Fund (LGIF) offers communities

financial assistance to create more efficient and effective service delivery within their area. Projects are expected to facilitate improved business environments and promote community attraction with their plan for efficiency, collaboration, or shared services. Communities will be able to save money and provide more effective services to their constituents with assistance from this program.

The LGIF program will award up to $100,000 in grant funds per feasibility study, up to $100,000 in loan assistance per entity for demonstration projects, and up to $500,000 in loan assistance for collaborative demonstration projects. Award amounts for applicants with collaborative partners are limited to $100,000 per applicant and $100,000 for each collaborative partner up to $500,000. Grant funds will be awarded semi-annually and loan funds will be awarded quarterly through a competitive and open selection process.
