¡MEJORAS AL CONTRATO!

E ste verano, muchos de nuestros agremia-

dos recibirán mejoras en sus sueldos y

beneficios.

En agosto, comienzan los incrementos a las

contribuciones de los patrones a nuestros planes

de seguro médico y pensión. Nuestros agre-

miados en Asilomar, Hilton, Hyatt, Highlands,

Beach Resort, Pebble Beach, y Quail Lodge

After leading Local 483 as Secretary-Treasurer

Brother O’Neill first joined Local 483 as a

bartender in 1978, becoming Secretary-Treasurer

during the 17-day Great Strike of 1982. His dec-

ades of skilled leadership in our workplaces and

at the negotiating table has helped protect our

rights on the job and secure better standards of

living for thousands of us and our families. Leon-

ard will continue to work for the Local 483 staff.

New Secretary-Treasurer Azpilcueta has been

a Local 483 member since beginning as a Pine

Inn server in 1990. Hector became an organizer

for Local 483 in 2002 and was later elected by our

membership to Vice President. Brother Azpil-

cueta is the first Latino Secretary-Treasurer in
