Our Matrix community has grown! We now have a new, out-of-district partner from Pater- son. Norman S. Weir School, in Paterson is joining our Matrix family. Two grade seven teachers from N.S.W. will be receiving new technology equipment to be used in their classrooms. These same two teachers will also receive ex- pert training from CIESE/Stevens Institute of Technology staff throughout the 06-07 school year. Another interesting highlight is the addition of new equipment to enhance and enrich the class- room learning experience. Each class will receive interactive tab- lets that will be used by students to interact with the already in- stalled whiteboards. Students will now have the ability to inter- act with the whiteboard directly from their seat. Matrix teachers will also be receiving interactive calculator sets from Texas Instru- ments. With these systems, teachers can have a class-wide interactive learning experience. As always, there will be extensive training in all these new technol- ogy avenues. Ahoratenemos un nuevo asociado defuera del distrito, en Paterson.Norman S Weir, en Paterson seune a nuestra familia Matrix. Dosmaestros de séptimo grado deNSW van a recibir equipamientode nueva tecnología par ser usadoen sus aulas. Estos dos mismosmaestros también recibirán entre-namiento experimentado porparte del personal deCIESE/Instituto Stevens de Tec-nología a lo largo del año escolar06-07.Otra noticia interesante es laadición del nuevo equipamientopara mejorar y enriquecer la expe-riencia de aprendizaje en las aul-as. Cada clase recibirá placasinteractivas que serán usadas porlos estudiantes para interactuarcon las, ya instaladas, pizarrasblancas.
