- All the IP capable MINI-LINK nodes support both static routes and dynamic routing with OSPF. - In some cases it mights be beneficial to utilize both dynamic and static routes in a network. Dynamic routing might for instance be used by the internal MINI-LINK routers internally in the cluster, w used to connect the MINI- LINK cluster to the OMC site.

In some cases it doesn make sense to group all MINI-LINK nodes into one OSPF AS domains with a t might for instance be problems with establishing a common backbone.
