The CPCNP is the second certification Jennings has earned from Cradlepoint University, which was designed to train and certify partners and sales teams. In November of 2015, Jennings passed his first certification, the Cradlepoint Certified Network Associate (CPCNA), to advance on to the coveted CPCNP. According to Cradlepoint University, the Associate certification consists of "administration of Cradlepoint routers, including LAN and WAN configuration, common features, firmware upgrades, and Enterprise Cloud Manager Administration." The Professional certification includes "in depth configuration of Cradlepoint routers: including LAN and WAN configuration, content filtering, firewall, VPN, GRE, WAN Affinity, GPS, hotspot services, Advanced ECM, administration, and more."
