INTRODUCTION
Branded Art Or Theme Based Artwork Incorporates
The Look And Feel Of A Client’s Space By Utilizing
Certain Images, Symbols, Words Or Icons To Create
And/Or Convey The Definition Of It’s
Message/Mission To The Public That It Serves By
Solving An Issue/Issues Within The space.
‘Branding’/Theme Based Artwork
Start By Coordinating An Interiors Space
Through The Following Ideas/Questions:
What are the primary issues with the design project that can be solved through themed
based artwork?
Is the name of the facility important to emphasize?
What images relate to the name of the facility or location?
Do the owners want/need to be featured prominently into the theme?
What role does the history of the facility and/or the name of the facility play into the
design features?
Does the logo of the facility need to be incorporated or specific photographs regarding
special events that have occurred at the location need to be displayed?
What colors, patterns, fabric or existing designs need to be incorporated or
emphasized into the artwork?
Example 1
Update To Existing Golf Facility In Florida
Emphasis On The Book ‘The Zen Of Golf’
Issues: Need Updated Visuals For Golf Facility
Solved By: One of the decisions was to use sacred geometry symbols inside the
golf balls. Because golf is known as a mental game we used two matching
profiles of ‘heads’ floating in the sky with golf balls inserted into them emphasizing
this theme. Including the wings on the head symbolized the idea of a ball ‘taking
flight’ the space between the thought of ‘acting’ before following through and
actually ‘hitting the ball’
The circles between the sky and the 'ground ‘ portray all of the balls a player may
hit to get the correct shot…The images, words and quotes below ground portray
the foundations of what it takes to be a proficient golfer…
